Charoset bursting with Medjool Dates, Apricots, Prunes, Figs, Wine and Spices and an intoxicating Spinach Mint Soup opened the meal, followed by a M<em>eze<\/em> of Hummus and Baba Ghanoush as traditionally served in Middle Eastern homes.<a rel=\"attachment wp-att-4309\" href=\"http:\/\/chezhelvetica.com\/blog\/2014\/04\/17\/syriously-seder\/syrian-chicken-3\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-4309\" title=\"Syrian chicken\" src=\"http:\/\/chezhelvetica.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Syrian-chicken2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harvardcommonpress.com\/djajeh-bahsal-chicken-with-prunes-and-honey\/\" target=\"_blank\">Syrian Chicken<\/a> with its fragrance of Cinnamon, Prunes and Honey, accompanied by Rice and Tabbouli Salad, was the entree. An assortment of luscious wines paired the food &#8211; from a Pasqua Amarone to Zenaida Cellars Zinfandel to Keller Estate Pinot Noir. Delicious Pistachio Cookies and Organic Strawberries concluded this Passover celebration of freedom.
