ChezHelvetica regaled a dear friend from college with a Welcome Dinner amidst hugs, kisses and conversation that picked up where we left off years earlier. Then the fest! Mouthwatering Crab Cakes<\/a>\u00a0composed of Dungeness Crab (one from the Seafood Center<\/em> in San Francisco and another from Bolinas) and delicious\u00a0Boudin<\/em> Sourdough Bread, served on inner leaves of Romaine and dressed with Lemon Vinaigrette,<\/a>\u00a0along with Sweet Potato Fries.\u00a0Jordan<\/em>\u00a0Russian River Chardonnay was the perfect pairing, both because of its creamy taste and its name, that of Nina’s son. For dessert we delighted in\u00a0Trader Joe’s<\/em> Speculoos Cookie Butter Ice Cream and\u00a0World’s Finest<\/em> Chocolate<\/em> Mint Meltaways while discussing next days plans to see Gustav Klimt<\/em> at the Legion<\/em>, Teotihuacan<\/em> at the deYoung <\/em>and hear\u00a0U.K. band\u00a0Stereophonics<\/em> at The Fillmore<\/em> and Seal<\/em> at Davies Symphony Hall<\/em>.\u00a0Excitement reigned!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/chezhelvetica.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/NinaCrabTable-1-300x225.jpg\")
